1ST DAY: OCEAN BEACHES AND CITY PARK
Enjoy your day to know the wonderful beaches of Niterói: Piratininga, Camboinhas, Itacoatiara (paradise for surfers) and Itaipu.
The City Park is located on Viração Hill, in the quarter of São Francisco. With an altitude of 270 meters above the sea, the Park offers tourism structure, two ramps for the practice of free flight and a panoramic view of the Ocean Region and the Guanabara Bay.
2ND DAY: FORTRESS COMPLEX
Start your day knowing the beauty of the Guanabara's Bay beaches. Beginning in the Gragoatá, follow the Boa Viagem, Icaraí, San Francisco, Charitas until Jurujuba, picturesque/pictorial fishing community. Then, depart on a return to the history.
Niterói has the second largest complex of forts and fortress of the country. Dated the year 1555, the Santa Cruz Fortress was the 1st fortress built around the Guanabara's Bay.
The Forts Rio Branco and Imbuí place in open sea and have a number of natural attractions. From the Forts of St. Louis and Pico you have a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean, Niterói, Guanabara's Bay and Rio de Janeiro.
3RD DAY: ROUTE OF THE MUSEUMS
Reserve your day for a cultural program. Go to the Mirante da Boa Viagem and enjoy the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), icon of modern architecture of Oscar Niemeyer.
A few minutes of the MAC, there are the Museum of Ingá (palace in neoclassical style), Antonio Parreiras Museum's (landscape painter of the early twentieth century) and the Solar do Jambeiro (beautiful building of Portuguese architecture of the XIX century coated tiles).
